Practical Knowledgebase to Doing Retirement Strategies

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Welcome back!

For many people thinking about retirement does not conjure up thoughts of loneliness. Instead they are busy planning about going on cruising trips, or using their time to finally pursue their interests or hobbies, or spending more quality time with their partners and other members of the family. Howevera spouse’s death or a divorce can leave people at the latter half of their lives feeling unsure and lost, wondering how to go on from there. However, being single and retired need not mean the death knell of life. There are many ways that you can beat loneliness after retirement and feel safe.

Except for the wealthy, the basic goal for almost all retirement planning is to ensure that your assets last, and your cash flow remains steady, for as long as you live. At the end of a regularly earned salary, balancing your retirement income against your total household expenses must be the focus of all further financial planning. Due to an increasing life expectancy, keeping the cash flow going has become increasingly critical. The average American, retiring at 65, can expect to live for at least another 20 years. So, it is essential that you don’t let the cash flow stop, even after retirement. Although the details of the strategies to accomplish that would vary according to your income, your lifestyle, and state of health, there are some basic moves that will help you to live adjust your income and balance it against your expenses. There is something to think about in terms of 401 retirement plan issues.

Something important to remember, especially if you have periodic distributions set up, is to keep an eye on the amount of cash available for withdrawal from your account. In most cases, your account will be invested in things such as stocks, bonds and/or mutual funds; though the value of these holdings may be more than enough to cover your withdrawal, if there is no actual cash available you can run into an “insufficient funds” error with your custodian. As a general rule of thumb we recommend keeping at least 3-6 months worth of expenses in cash and available for distribution.

This takes care of your distribution needs while also keeping your cash position at a minimum, leaving the majority of your portfolio invested for the potential of long-term higher returns. In addition, when it comes to replenishing your cash balance, remember that interest, dividends and capital gains distributions generated from the positions you own will help with this. However it is a good idea to stay apprised of your amount’s cash balance so that if you do need to sell a holding for funds it can be done in time so as not to interrupt the your monthly distributions.

Find The Right Insurance Companies For German Riester Contracts

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

There are many insurance companies offering a so called Riester-Contract on the german market. Usually it is not easy for the consumer to find the right insurance company that fits best with the own needs. How can you find the right insurance for Riester covering your requirements at the best price? The following site offers a free Riester-insurance comparison: Riester Rente Versicherungsvergleich There you can order quickly the right Riester-Insurance offer from a great number of insurers.

For whom is a Riester-Insurance useful? Each employed professional, who is not willing to rely on the statutory pension exclusively, should think about a Riester insurance. If you are looking for a Riester insurance company in Germany, you should take into consideration some important aspects:

The financial burden on your Riester pension consists of your own contribution and the state support, whereas the latter depends on marital status and number of children. In addition to the public sponsorship you can also benefit from the possibility of tax deduction concerning your private contributions to the contract. For all children born from 2008, the publicsupport for Riester contracts has increased significantly. The allowance for children can be taken in addition to the basic sponsorship. This creates an additional incentive for parents to upgrade their own pensions by a Riester contract. Before choosing your German Riester-Insurance contract, you should always ask for several quotes. That can be done on the Internet: Riester Rente Test. The legislature has created additional incentives for private pensions by the Riester pension reform and the related public support. Those public supports make it more easy for people with average income and for families with children to build an additional pension. Therefore those incentives for additional savings have been created.

For all employees the additional retirement security in the form of the German Riester pension is very interesting. Also officials, judges and soldiers belong to the circle of beneficiaries of public aid for Riester insurance. Since 2006 there apply the same contributions and the same benefits for men and women to new contracts. The public allowance for Riester pension insurance is granted only upon request. The insurance provider can provide for the application of the sponsorship. The Riester pension is a very good addition to the statutory pension schemes on a voluntary basis and therefore an important component of your individual pensions. If your financial status should get worse over time, one important thing is that the private equity in your savings account is not subject to seizure.

Psychological Abuse

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Our lives are intricately intertwined with our feelings. As you pass through life you will see many people who are strong both physically and emotionally. You will also see people who are weak. These people could be weak in their emotional outlook and in some cases they will be the victims of psychological abuse.

If you’re not the victim, it’s very easy to ask how anyone can let themselves be abused. The answers to this are difficult for us to understand even if you are trained to deal with these social problems. You could say that for many of these people the person who inflicts that misery of psychological abuse would be a family member. This implies that the sufferer has no control over their lives and they are dominated.

In psychological abuse this case scenario is absolutely true. The person who experiences psychological abuse will be unable to defend themselves. For this situation to occur the abuse has to start when the sufferer is in a weakened condition. For example the victim could be a young child and the abuser an adult who is looking after the child.

Another example of psychological abuse would be that of an elderly person. While this individual is in the prime of their life they are not dependent on anyone, therefore the psychological abuse will not have begun. As this individual grows older and frail the once friendly individual can become a tormentor. It is likely that this individual was at one point in their lives the victim of psychological abuse too.

Regardless of the root causes the psychological abuse is mentally and emotional deteriorating to the health of the sufferer. To make sure that this crime does not continue indefinitely it should be reported to the authorities and they should be informed of the condition of the victim. This will enable them to decide what sort of action should be taken with regard to both victim and tormentor.

Having stopped the psychological abuse does not mean that the person will be able to continue with their course of life as though nothing has happened. For the victim to recover completely from the effects of psychological abuse their needs should be followed up with therapy and counseling. For the elderly this also means looking for a suitable home for them to stay as they may not have the ability to recover from this psychological abuse as quickly as the young.

Regardless of whether the victim is young or old, male or female, psychological abuse is the act of tearing the victim’s self worth apart and making them feel totally worthless. This is how the tormentors are able to carry out their campaign of terror in absolute silence. This is why we sometimes never hear the silent tears for help.

Key Points To Raise Your Credit Rating

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Debt consolidation can help you manage your debt and give you back your life. If you are troubled with harassing phone calls from your debtors you may find peace of mind with consolidation. It may also be your most appealing solution. Most companies are willing to work with you to help you pay down your debt in a timely manner thus saving your credit rating. However, when you have tried all avenues and you still find yourself in debt, consolidation may be your answer.

Debt consolidation options

Debt consolidation options refer to the places you can obtain the debt consolidation advice as well as the programs they offer. You have several different options regarding debt consolidation, which makes a little research and preparedness very important to your overall decision. Remember your overall goal is to live debt free.

Let’s take a look at the first debt consolidation option that you have. Seeking advice regarding debt consolidation is a good idea. If you are struggling with payments I would seek out a nonprofit debt consolidation business. These types of debt consolidation places offer you the advice of a financial analyst for free. This means you can take in your financial paperwork and get a little help in deciding where the debt consolidation may be helpful, and what your next move should be. With this type of debt consolidation option you will find that the analyst will look at your take-home pay, your debt, and where you may be able to save.

Places for debt consolidation

There are many Avenues for debt consolidation. Some require that you send in money to them and sign an agreement with them. It will also affect your credit score and can even be considered a red flag for bankruptcy when trying to secure a loan. If you go with a national debt consolidation company they usually require your monthly minimum payment, plus another month in reserve before they will begin to negotiate for you. This is something you need to decide if you can afford to do.

There are also nonprofit originations that can do the same thing for you, but without the same requirements as for profit organizations. They will set up a meeting with you, discuss your options and set forth a plan, as well as speak with your creditors on your behalf. The fees here are usually on a sliding scale, so it may benefit you to check on this type of debt consolidation. They begin by having you fill out an account of your take-home pay and expenditures for the month. In this way you can see firsthand where you stand financially and maybe, come up with ways to cut down on spending. Sometimes just seeing where your money goes is a big step. This is done in a private atmosphere and without judgment, which is a big boost for your self- confidence that help is on the way.

Place to Read the Vital Facts About Giving Back to Others

CAN YOUR LIFE MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY GIVING BACK TO OTHERS

When you get to be my age - you will find yourself beginning to ask, did my life make a difference?

And I think the only way to face it is to consider, every day of your life: How can I do something for somebody else? How can I give back to others? It may be teaching, it may be becoming a doctor, you may be successful in business - no matter what your career path, there will always be the opportunity to give back. The chance will present itself to be giving of your time, giving of your money, but mostly, to be giving of yourselves, of your own heart and soul.

Cosmic Ordering is not all about taking, but about giving. This is not tithing whereby you set a certain percentage of your earnings to one side and to be given away. You cannot just buy this ‘giving back to others’.

My hope today, as you commence to new beginnings, is you will always keep your eyes open for those opportunities to give and embrace them as your best sure way of doing well.

THE MOST VALUABLE GIFT IN THE WORLD IS PRICELESS AND YET ALSO SO INEXPENSIVE

You know, while everyone is chasing a bigger pay rise, more returns on their investments and fatter cheques (checks) from TV show royalties, there is something we can overlook in life as being worth far more, yet so inexpensive for us to attain. Here is a story to show what I mean.

Junior high school students in Chicago were studying the Seven Wonders of the World. At the end of the lesson, the students were asked to list what the considered to be the Seven Wonders of the World. The following received the most votes:

1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids
2. The Taj Mahal in India
3. The Grand Canyon in Arizona
4. The Panama Canal
5. The Empire State Building
6. St. Peter’s Basilica
7. China’s Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet girl, hadn’t turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The quiet girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there were so many.” The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.”

The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:

1. to touch…
2. to taste…
3. to see…
4. to hear… (She hesitated a little, and then added…)
5. to feel…
6. to laugh…
7. and to love.”

The room was so quiet, you could have heard a pin drop.

May this story serve as a gentle reminder to all of us that the things we overlook as simple and ordinary are often the most wonderful - and we don’t have to travel anywhere special to experience them.

Add Just 1-line Of Magic Code To Any Site & Money Pours Into Your Pocket!

Monday, September 29th, 2008

**********************************************
JUST RELEASED
**********************************************

I just found out that there’s a brand new site that is giving out a “magic code” that when added to any site FORCES it to just start making money!

No kidding! - you just add the code, and like magic your site just starts pouring money into your pocket!

I’m NOT joking - I’ll show you PROOF in a moment!

But what you need to know most is this:

o You can add this “magic code” to any site in just 45 seconds!
o You can add it to an unlimited number of sites!
o You can “rinse & repeat” this over & over to make as much
money as you can ever imagine!
o After adding just this code, you don’t have to do anything
else!
o You just sit back and make all the cash you could ever ask
for!

And again, it all comes in a simple little PDF that contains everything you need, including full instructions, so you can get started in the next 15 minutes!

>> My advice would be to move on and get there FAST!

It’s rumored that the guy who operates the site may either LIMIT how many people are allowed in on his “secret magic code,” or at the very least “choke” down the flow of how many people he gives it out to, and so as not to let just anybody and everybody spoil this.

I also heard that he may stop offering anymore copies after some time (and without notice) just to keep competition “alive and well” (but who really knows?)

Regardless of which, it’s my understanding that once you’re in, *YOU’RE IN!* (So I wouldn’t waste time if I were you, or worse still: I WOULD NOT RISK IT!)

PROOF!…
———————
I just happen to have the link in case you’re smart and want in just like me and the few others who’ve found this so far:

~~~> MONEY ALERT
**Just DON’T be shocked in case when you get there they’re closed to any further copies being given out!
(But just don’t say I didn’t warn you!)
Use Renewable Energy To Help Conserve Non-renewable Resources
Sunday, September 28th, 2008
We are facing a global energy crisis that is continuing to get worse every day. The problem is multi-faceted. On one hand, we are depleting our supply of non-renewable resources. These resources cannot be replaced and when they are gone, we will have to rely on other sources of energy. Because of simple supply and demand economics, as the supply of these resources go down, their prices will go up. We are already experiencing the pains of increasing energy costs and this problem will continue to get worse. Another problem is the pollution caused by burning of fossil fuels. All of these problems can be helped by developing and using green energy.
We can all help the energy crisis by doing some simple things to conserve our natural resources. We can help conserve natural resources by recycling instead of throwing things away. This means not throwing away plastic bottles, cans, and other things that are made from natural resources. Another thing we can do is conserve energy. There or tons of things you can do to conserve energy in your home. Simple things include turning the television off when you are not using it, keeping your thermostat set properly so you don’t heat or cool an empty house, and turning off the lights when you leave a room. Car pooling is another way to save gas and money. All of these simple things can help conserve our natural resources and help the energy crisis we are facing.
Using sources of green energy is another way we can save the non-renewable resources that we have. There are several things that commonly produce green energy including solar energy, wind energy, and water energy. You can use these sources of renewable energy in your home. You can learn more about residential solar power and other green energy options at the Alternative Energy Sources Blog.
One source of renewable energy that is commonly used is solar energy. There are many ways you can use the sun to save energy. A simple use of solar energy is letting the sun heat your house through your windows. All you have to do is make sure your blinds or curtains are open when you want the sun to heat your house and closed when you want to keep the heat out. You can also use the sun to heat your water. Solar powered water heaters can be used to heat your water and substantially reduce the amount of energy you use to heat water. Solar energy can also be used to create electricity to power your house by mounting electricity producing solar panels in the sun. If you use these solar energy devices, you can substantially reduce the amount of money you spend every month on energy. You also help save the planet by reducing the drain on our non-renewable resources.
Wind energy is another form of green energy that is becoming really popular. In many areas of the country, you can see windmill farms going up to harvest wind energy. There are also windmills that can be purchased for residential use. While harnessing wind energy probably isn’t as wide spread as solar energy yet, they are becoming more popular and will continue to provide energy as long as the wind blows.
Water energy is another form of renewable energy that has been used for centuriesOne problem that many environmentally conscious people face is not being able to personally do things to create green energy. If this is the case for you, don’t worry. You can still help save the environment by buying green energy. Many energy companies today offer a green energy option. When you choose this option, your energy company will invest in wind, water, or solar energy which means they will use less non-renewable resources. You are contributing to saving the environment in this way. One company that has a green energy option is Ambit Energy. If you live in Texas or New York, you can get Cheap Electricity from Ambit Energy and save the planet by using renewable energy.
These are just a few ways to save energy, the environment, money, and non-renewable resources. As we move forward, it will be critical that we are all do things to help save our resources for future generations.
Learn How to Manage Retirement Matters
Sunday, September 28th, 2008
When you start planning for your retirement, the first thing you’ll need to do is think about how you will be spending your time once you are retired. Will you spend most of your time golfing, quilting or driving around the country in your RV? Will you take a lot of trips? Where will you go? How much will you need to save to pay for all of the things you want to do?
You should plan well for your retirement. Seek the help of a counselor who can create a plan for your retirement and help you set your goals or define your career path so as that you can lead a satisfying retired life. Retirement counseling is generally based on your needs and either the counselor guides you to a specialist or provides a referral.
So start planning now if you wish to lead a quality life after retirement and the first step would be based on assessing the type of life you would like to live. So if you are retiring at 60 or 65 and wish to maintain the same lifestyle, then your retirement years should generally focus on building wealth to generate income from those investments made during the working years. By joining a workshop and enrolling with a financial planning program, you will be able to chart a well-defined path, which can make your retirement years more worthwhile and relaxing.
Knowing where you stand, you can then begin to answer questions about when you can/will retire, what you want to do in retirement, where you want to live, etc. You can easily have some extra streams of income working for you in your retirement; this is a huge help for any 401k retirement plan thinker. Once you have all of these issues planned out on paper, you will then need to prepare a ‘profroma retirement budget’ to estimate the cost of living for you and your wife in the first year of retirement.
Then, you must have an allowance for contingencies that may arise and how you plan on handling them. Only after you have done these steps can you realistically estimate your regular monthly expenses in your retirement years. Talk about your plans for retirement with your spouse and other members of your family. It is likely that both you and your spouse will retire around the same time, hence both of you should be in accord about the kind of retirement you want. If both of you are working, both will be making contributions to the funds you are putting aside for your retirement. Hence by deciding together, you will find acceptable.
How To Harness Communication Skills,
Saturday, September 27th, 2008
Many people think that you are not good speakers and they are right. Not Many people are born with Good Communication. But this is no reason for you to sit on the couch and do nothing about the issue. After spending thousands on seminars on Good Communication, I understood that each person actually has an inborn ability to connect with others and it is only a matter of practice. It is a matter of being in the right zone in the right time.
Numerous Martial artists and athletes believe that when they get into the field, they enter a new zone or a state of consciousness. A zone where, their ability to hear, observe and respond is at its peak. There is no special ability behind this secret. It is only a issue of practice and control. If you find yourself wondering how you can do it, let me help you.
Here are some exercises you can do to connect with your Inner Power of expression so you can communicate with ease..
1. Speak Impromptu:
Stand in front of a mirror and start your Impromptu. Do not care what comes out of your mouth, just keep blabbering. Do not stop to revise or analyze what you are saying. Make sure no one hears you do this as it will only make you conscious of their presence and you may censor out your thinking. This exercise is to help you get into your natural flow. You will know when you get into the flow by observing how you feel inside. It will take time to master this technique so do not expect a one day miracle.
2. Grounding:
Make a few minutes everyday to ground yourself. Pick a spot free from disturbance. Loosen your whole body. Imagine all the stress just dropping off you like sweat. Imagine and feel a cool blue light from the sky entering your head, traveling all through your body and finally rush deep into Earth through your legs. Imagine and feel a warm Red light rise up from the earth, enter your body through the legs and then finally release into sky via your head. Feel the love and warmth of both the Red and the Blue light flow in your body. Relish this at least for 5 minutes day.
3. Reverse Read:
Take any good book on self help and reverse read for about 15 minutes a day. Reading in reverse means, you should start from the bottom right corner and read from right to left.
Practice these few steps few minutes a day and you will be well on your way to harness Good Communication Skills.. Once you begin getting into the zone, notice how you feel.
