Entertainment with Naruto Episodes

Naruto is an action and comedy packed animation series which has Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja kid at the centre of its story.
The popular series which was first shown on TV Tokyo is an on screen adaptation of the Masashi Kishimoto’s 1997 series which came on the Japanese indigenous comics called manga. The animated series which was an on screen adaptation of the comic series of the same name in 1997 was created by Masashi Kishimoto and became popular in the US when Viz Media released it there.
The series was broadcasted on TV Tokyo from October 3, 2002 to February 8, 2007 and was first made in the Japanese language which was later translated into English for telecast in cartoon network’s toonami division. With the series soon climbing the popularity charts cartoon network brought the series to its main channel to cater to its vast fan following.
The story is set up against the backdrop of a village called Konohagakure which is depicted as one among the five Shinobi nations. It is one among the five great Shinobi nations and it is here where Naruto engages in all kinds of mischief trying to prove his bravery and expertise in ninja. He constantly engages in one or the other adventure in an effort to grab attention and to exhibit his ninja skills to become the Hokage, the title equal to the rulers of the country. The different characters in the Naruto episodes blend in beautifully with the story’s theme and have become very popular too particularly Naruto’s friends Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.
Apart from cartoon network, the Naruto episodes were shown on Bionix and Jetix UK as well. The animated Naruto episodes though based on the original comic series also added some colorful events and tales of its own. Despite having around 220 episodes only 209 episodes were telecast with the final one shown in January 2009. There are rumors that Viz will resume the telecast but these rumors are still to be confirmed.
It’s not game over yet for Naruto’s fans as the producers are offering DVDs which have the famous ninja kid’s episodes. They have taken great care to make sure that the DVD’s include the episodes with minimum cuts so that viewers are not disappointed. There are also DVDs containing episodes of the series for every season and some containing selected scenes of the series. The first 135 episodes have been brought into a single DVD called Naruto The Best Scene. The famous Naruto episodes are also available on the web. Naruto has also been immortalized in a movie version which is great news for all diehard fans of the Naruto episodes and escapades.
